According to the National Defense Science and Technology Industry Bureau, on February 20, the 16th Abu Dhabi International Defense Exhibition (referred to as "Abu Dhabi Defense Exhibition") opened in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. The National Defense Science and Technology Industry Bureau organized nine military trade companies to participate in the exhibition as the "China Military Industry" national exhibition group, showcasing the advanced capabilities and levels of China's defense science and technology industry, providing a Chinese solution for building global peace and security.
The Chinese exhibition group is one of the largest national exhibition groups at this event, covering an area of over 2,100 square meters, with the largest scale and number of exhibits in history, showcasing nearly 500 types of equipment, covering traditional security fields such as land, sea, air, space, and electronics, as well as emerging equipment fields such as network intelligence and unmanned counter-unmanned systems. Among them, the LY-80B air defense system, the Lynx 2000 all-domain maneuvering synthetic battalion, and dozens of other products made their overseas debut. In addition, various types of drones, multifunctional unmanned boats, unmanned ground platforms, comprehensive counter-drone systems, the FD-2000 air defense system, the Falcon Eagle fighter jet, the VT-4 main battle tank, the AR3 multiple rocket launcher, as well as several hard-core equipment such as electronic warfare and command systems are all included.
The Chinese exhibition area features an integrated, embracing Great Wall pattern ceiling design, highlighting Chinese characteristics and the concept of stopping war with weapons; the prominent "China Military Industry" logo is accompanied by English and Arabic, demonstrating the willingness to strengthen international exchange and cooperation; traditional Arab green decorations highlight the long-standing friendship between China and Arab countries. The National Defense Science and Technology Industry Bureau will continue to build the "China Military Industry" image, promote international exchange and cooperation in the defense science and technology industry through this exhibition, and contribute Chinese strength to maintaining regional peace and stability and building a defense security community.
The Abu Dhabi Defense Exhibition has been held every two years since 1993 and is one of the largest, most attended, and most influential international defense exhibitions in the world. This year's exhibition attracted over 1,300 companies from more than 70 countries, gathering top defense companies from around the world to showcase advanced defense equipment and technology.
